About
Society often misunderstands introverts and favors extroverts in most situations. My goal with this blog is to help people, introverts and extroverts, understand what introversion really is and show introverts that there is nothing wrong with being quiet and how in some instances, they can actually use their introverted qualities to their own advantage.
Signs you are an introvert:
(All of these don't have to apply to you for you to be an introvert. And if only a few apply, it doesn't necessarily make you an introvert. No one is 100% an introvert or extrovert, you could even be an ambivert, which is right in the middle of the spectrum.)

- You enjoy spending time alone.
- You do your best thinking when you’re alone.
- Your inner monologue never stops.
- You often feel lonelier in a crowd than when you’re alone.
- You feel like you’re faking it when you have to network (acting like an extrovert when needed).
- You’re not the student shooting your hand up every time the teacher asks a question (you’re content just knowing you know the answer and you don't like attention).
- You’re better at writing your thoughts than speaking them.
- Talking on the phone doesn’t seem like a fun way to pass time.
- You’d rather not engage with people who are angry.
- You avoid small talk whenever possible.
- You’ve been told you’re “too intense” (because you think so deeply).
- You don’t go to parties to meet new people.
- You shut down after too much socializing.
- You notice details that others miss.
- You can concentrate for long periods of time on things that matter to you.
- You live in your head.
- You like to people watch.
- You’re a good listener.
- You have a small circle of friends.
- You don’t get “high” off your environment.
- You’re an old soul.
- You alternate between being with people and being alone.
Some topics discussed in my blog are how introverts socialize differently from extroverts, the introvert hangover, the introvert's need for solitude, the difference between introversion and shyness, and introverts as leaders.
